Do you have to take a sequence of measurements that you would like to present in an Excel document? With the “Leica DISTO Transfer” this is no problem. It is an ideal app to bring the data from a Leica DISTO with Bluetooth Smart directly into an Excel worksheet. It is also possible to make calculations in an Excel file, in order to check dimensions or create a quotation on-site for discussion with your customer. You also can use the data for production purposes when you are back in the office. This makes it easier for you to do your job, either on-site or in the office.
The program connects to Leica DISTO devices using a Bluetooth Low Energy (BT 4.0) interface (current models are Leica DISTO D510, Leica DISTO D810 touch). From your Android device, you can transfer the measurement data from the Leica DISTO into the Clipboard. With the D810 touch it is even possible to remotely trigger the measurement from your Android device. Once they are in the Clipboard, they can be inserted into any application.
Now you can also transfer your measurements directly into an Excel file. You can either generate this file on the Android device itself or you can download and open any Excel file previously used on another computer beforehand. The most common formulas from Excel are supported.

Please note: this program only runs on Android devices version 4.3 or higher. It supports Bluetooth 2.1 interface with SPP profile as well as Bluetooth 4.0 (Bluetooth Low Energy). Due to the vast amount of existing Android devices, not all can be tested. Successful results were achieved by using the Samsung Galaxy S4, Nexus 4 or Nexus 7.

Leica DISTO – Apps bring the office to the construction site
The smart Android and iOS apps “Leica DISTO sketch” and “Leica DISTO transfer” are the ideal interface between the Leica DISTO laser distance meter with Bluetooth® Smart and a smart phone or tablet. They allow sketches or photographs to be created and dimensioned quickly, or the transfer of measurements into a chart. The data is subsequently able to be sent directly to the office. This simplifies and speeds up working practices.
